The beach
At two km from Sfantu Gheorghe (Saint George) village is a wide, super-fine sand beach spreading on 38 Km until Sulina town. The beach goes under the Black Sea so smoothly forming an secure area for children.

Fishing
For the fishing lovers this area offers the opportunity of organizing fishing contests on the Danube, lakes and channels at carp, sheat fish, pike, eel, crucian, perch and sea fishing at grey mullet, turbot and shark. The permit for sport fishing can be obtained from the authorities.
